Füssen Kneipp Cycle Route

The Kneipp Cycle Route links sites representing the five principles of water, movement, nutrition, medicinal herbs and inner balance. Depending on the official starting point and version shown, its length is given as roughly 23 to 26 km. From Weissensee it connects areas of Bad Faulenbach, Füssen and Hopfen am See before returning through the lake landscape.

More than a training ride

Allow time to get off the bike. Treading pools, quiet places, herb stations and the floating Kneipp island in Lake Hopfensee are part of the experience. Use water treatments only if they are appropriate for your health and seek medical advice beforehand if you have concerns.

Practical planning

• Check the current track and any roadworks before starting.
• Bring non-slip footwear for wet Kneipp areas.
• Ride slowly and considerately on shared lakeside paths.
• Allow substantially more than the pure riding time for stops.
