The approximately five kilometer long Baumgarten-Kobelweg circuit

The approximately five kilometer long Baumgarten-Kobelweg circuit is a real highlight for all Nordic walking fans who spend a relaxing time in the beautiful Füssen-Weißensee. This tour leads through the picturesque Faulenbacher Valley, a green oasis with many natural beauties and adventure stations that further increase the relaxation factor here.

Nordic walking is a gentle endurance sport that comes from Scandinavia and has many positive effects on the body and is one of the healthiest sports there is. If you do Nordic walking in a wonderful landscape, you're doing yourself a double good. The approximately five kilometer long Baumgarten-Kobelweg circuit presented here leads through the car-free Faulenbacher Valley, which belongs to the Bad Faulenbach district of Füssen. Here, in this Kneipp health resort and mud and mineral spa, everything revolves around enjoying nature, relaxation and regeneration. A so-called “Path of the Senses” with various nature experience stations was created in the Faulenbacher Valley, which makes this green oasis, which fascinates with picturesque lakes, species-rich flower meadows and pretty mountain slope forests, even more attractive. Look forward to a varied tour, let your thoughts wander from time to time and simply enjoy the beauty of the landscape here. The starting and finishing point of the Baumgarten-Kobelweg circuit, which lasts about an hour and a half, is the parking lot at the mini golf course in Bad Faulenbach.

From the parking lot you first go onto the Morissesteig, which leads you to the Füssener Stadtpark Baumgarten. Here you follow the path to the gate at the High Castle, a Gothic castle complex with a pretty facade and interiors worth seeing, which is considered Füssen's landmark. Before the gate, turn left in a loop back to Kobelweg, follow it for a bit above the ice rink and then take the turnoff to the Faulenbacher Tal on the left. Here you cross Alatseestrasse and from now on walk towards Obersee and Mittersee. These small lakes, located next to each other, with their natural pools are popular bathing destinations in summer. There are sunbathing areas with shaded areas, designated non-swimmer areas, changing rooms and toilets. Café-restaurants invite you to stop and take an enjoyable break before continuing the tour. You can combine Nordic walking with some swimming fun on warm days.

At Obersee there is a Kneipp facility with a pedal pool, a fountain, a pedal meadow and several changing benches. Here you have the opportunity to take advantage of the healing power of water and enjoy wellness in harmony with nature. The Kneipp facility, like other experience stations such as a barefoot and balancing path, is part of the “Path of the Senses”, which encourages you to slow down and help you become more mindful. After about an hour and a half, you finally slowly arrive back at the starting point of this varied tour. Now it's a good idea to play another round of mini golf and end the trip that way.

The mini golf course in Bad Faulenbach is open daily from Easter to October, weather permitting. It is surrounded by shady trees and has a cozy beer garden where you can sit together for a while with snacks and drinks before returning to your holiday home in Füssen-Weißensee. The Baumgarten-Kobelweg circuit promises all-round successful hours with lots of interesting impressions and lots of fun. You should definitely take this tour into account when planning your holiday activities.
