There are enough parking spaces available at the outdoor pool. Of course, you can also cycle from Füssen to the starting point of the bike tour in about half an hour.
The climatic health resort Weißensee is very rural and consists of 23 hamlets that lie gently nestled between wide, green meadows. The center of the Füssen district is the Weißensee, which was created during the last ice ages and is now a popular recreational and excursion destination. On its banks there are many secluded, romantic places that invite you to relax. The area here is particularly popular with hikers, who find many beautiful paths here. But Weißensee is also extremely worthwhile for cyclists, as you will see on this tour to the castle ruins. First you start from the Tourist Information, along the idyllic meadows, via the district of Hof to Hopferried. You then cycle along little-used dirt roads to Unterreuten and Speiden. The remarkable medieval castles of Hohenfreyberg and Eisenberg shared the same fate towards the end of the Thirty Years' War when they were set on fire by the Tyrolean state government.
