You start the tour on the market square and take a leisurely stroll towards Emmenried / Maisenbaindt. On a footpath you go along the rain retention basin and at the entrance to the recycling center turn left towards Maisenbaindt / Hohenrad / Strohmayers. Enjoy the soothing air of the beautiful Allgäu landscape and the beautiful views over wide meadows of wooded hills and the magnificent mountains in the distance. You follow a meadow path towards Wald-Moos and now reach the Mooswanderweg, which takes you over footbridges through the Emmenrieder Moos. By the way, moss is an Upper German term that stands for moor. The silence of the moorland here is ideal for leaving the stress of everyday life behind and letting your thoughts wander. After a short while you will reach a snack area that is ideal for a short break and offers a beautiful view. Strengthen yourself with something tasty from your hiking backpack before the tour continues.

At the next fork in the road, keep right and walk along a forest path to the end. Now turn right again towards Maisenbaidt / Hohenrad / Krugzell. After you have crossed another footbridge, you will reach a road junction where you continue hiking in the direction of Eggholz / Strohmayers / Wiggensbach. In the small town of Schwenkels the tour is a little steeper and tests your fitness. Follow the signs for Ettensberg / Wiggensbach and follow the forest path uphill over the ridge path to the left to a meadow path. Finally, walk towards Illerstraße to return to the center of Wiggensbach. Overall, this tour, which provides really nice holiday impressions, lasts a good hour and a half.
