The Saloberalm is a cozy mountain hut that is located above Lake Alatsee, which is about 6 kilometers from Füssen, and is a great destination for a successful winter trip. A leisurely winter hike that doesn't require much effort and is suitable for the whole family takes you to this rustic hut where culinary delights await you before the rapid sleigh ride back to the valley. The ideal starting point for a trip to the Saloberalm is the parking lot at Alatsee. The best way to get there is to drive towards Weißensee and turn left after the traffic lights behind the bridge that leads over a highway. A little later you drive past the Weißensee East car park before you reach the Alatsee car park. You should wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes for the excursion. Of course, the right sleigh is also included; If you don't have one with you, you can rent models of different sizes wherever skis and snowboards are sold.

The journey quickly returns to the valley through the fairytale snowy landscape. The Saloberalm is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 9 to 20 Uhr and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 to 22 Uhr. It remains closed on Monday.
